Last night, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jim Lyons in front of a crowd of pro-life supporters to discuss the MA Infanticide Act.  We both noted how this bill is so extreme that we are seeing it galvanize a broad base of resistance.  That unity and energy amongst the local pro-life movement is encouraging.  We are also seeing exciting things happen at the national level.  As the MA associate for Focus on the Family, I’m delighted to share with you what they have planned for tomorrow.  Their event, “Alive From New York,” will highlight 4D ultrasound footage projected in Times Square. Through these powerful images, as well as live music, inspirational speeches and stories from abortion survivors, they will proclaim that life in the womb is sacred and worthy of protection.  You can register for the livestream (tomorrow from 2:30 to 4:30pm EST) here

The saying that “a picture is worth a thousand words” applies profoundly in this case.  Please join with me in praying that those live videos of children in the womb will cut through the lies of Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry.

Speaking of prayer, yesterday was the 68th annual National Day of Prayer.  Michael King represented MFI at the MA State House, where local faith leaders joined in prayer to ask the Lord to grant wisdom to our 200 legislators and the Governor regarding pending legislation like the Infanticide Bill and the Sex Education Mandate.  Michael also encouraged attendees to consider signing up as a Prayer Partner to educate and pray for their representative and/or senator.  MFI has set a goal to match every state legislator with a Prayer Partner in their district who will commit to educate and pray for them!  Will you consider being a part of this great mission?!  If so, text Michael King at (978) 204-9131 for more information!  For more information on the National Day of Prayer, visit their site.

Finally, I am excited to announce that ticket sales are now OPEN for MFI’s Annual Fundraising Banquet.  This is always such a fun and uplifting event, where over 500 pro-family supporters gather together to hear from a nationally recognized speaker and support our shared family values.  This October 18th, MFI welcomes President of the Colson Center and Break Point Radio host, John Stonestreet. I’ve met John last year at the national Family Policy Alliance summit, where he gave a terrific talk.  With his current work of public commentary on worldview and his past experience with Summit Ministries, I know he will have a powerful and timely message for us.  Our banquet has sold out the past couple of years, so reserve your tickets today and get the discounted Early Bird rate!

For our families,
