This past Tuesday, MFI staff joined 3,400 others in front of the State House to lift our voices in prayer for our nation and our Commonwealth. We were encouraged and blessed by the opportunity to worship God in our state’s capitol with so many other faithful citizens of Massachusetts.
During his speech, Franklin Graham urged MA Christians to be involved in our state’s issues, because they impact our ability to share and live according to our faith. Graham’s tour buses had these words plastered on them: “Pray. Vote. Engage.”
“Get involved in politics… I don’t believe that we as Christians should withdraw,” Graham told the crowd. “Freedom of religion means we can live our faith in the street… In politics.”
Before and after Graham’s speech, many of you did just that by signing the petition to Keep MA Safe. Thank you to all who have signed!
And thank you, Franklin Graham, for bringing the people of God together in Boston Tuesday and encouraging us to be engaged in the Bay State. Find out how you can be more engaged in Massachusetts and utilize MFI’s local curriculum for churches and small groups, Engage the Bay State.
