Thank you to all who joined us for our 28th Annual Fundraising Banquet. It was a huge success; thanks to your generosity, we set a record for money raised! We are forever grateful to all of you who continue to stand with us in our fight to defend families in Massachusetts. Your contributions make it possible for MFI to be your advocate for faith, family, and freedom in the public square. Here you can see just a few highlights of MFI’s work from this year.

As always, it was a time of encouragement and fellowship with hundreds of pro-family supporters coming together from across the Commonwealth. For those of you who were not able to attend, keynote speaker John Stonestreet led us in a powerful, gospel-centered message. We’ll have the full video available to watch soon.

Each year, we celebrate a person who responds to a threat to faith, family, or freedom with a Citizenship Award. The recipient demonstrates compassion as well as commitment to our Judeo-Christian values and provides us all with a clear example of courage. The 2019 recipient of this award was Rosa Hiciano, a courageous young woman who refused to give up when her high school tried to prevent her from starting a Bible club, a clear violation of her First Amendment rights.

Rosa’s powerful story (which you can learn more about here) is just one example of how your support allows MFI to get involved at the local level to defend our shared values. At the banquet, we also highlighted how your contributions effect change at the state and federal level. This year, MFI was able to partner with national allies from across the political and ideological spectrum to bring you a brand new resource: Responding to the Transgender Issue – the Parent Resource Guide. This guide serves as an update on the rapidly changing issue of transgenderism, and we’ve done the work to supplement the national guide with the details of transgender issues here in Massachusetts. You can download the full guide and information specific to our state at mafamily.org/PRG.

We hope you find this resource and all of our other materials helpful as we strive to be your go-to hub for all issues related to the family. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

For those of you who were not able to attend but are interested in supporting MFI financially, you can donate online.
