As mortal beings, we will all die. There is a continuing debate, however, on how much control people should have over the circumstances of their death. Fear of pain, loss of control and concern about being a burden to others are common issues surrounding death and dying.

MFI believes that no one has the right to deliberately end an innocent life and therefore opposes both euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide.
