Joining Starbucks, Target and The Home Depot in endorsing the homosexual agenda are retailer J.C. Penney and cereal giant General Mills. The latter, based in Minneapolis, has just declared war on marriage, formally opposing the Minnesota marriage amendment that will go to voter this November. Among General Mills brands are Green Giant, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Kix and Trix.

For J.C. Penney, their support of the homosexual agenda is costing them dearly. It began with them hiring same-sex “marriage” supporter Ellen DeGeneres as a spokesperson, and continued with ads on both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day promoting two moms and two dads. This all comes from a company with Christian and traditional values roots. According to the Wall Street Journal, J.C. Penney’s stock “has lost more than a third of its value since a disastrous earnings report in mid-May, when Penney’s posted a $163 million loss and said sales fell 20% in the first three months of its fiscal year.”

“Whether J.C. Penney will learn from its mistakes is yet to be seen,” said FRC President Tony Perkins. “But its free-fall should serve as a warning to other companies who are itching to jump on the same-sex bandwagon.”
